I’ve been searching the web for things that interest me for a very long time now, and I have a large collection of places that I’d like to share with readers, friends, and others who may stumble upon this site. I’ve listed them by my personal arrangement and if you would like to visit them too, I’d be honored. (They all were working at the time I posted this, but they may not all work when you visit, and I’m not going to be too diligent about checking them all so if you run into a broken one, you can let me know, but it won’t be too high a priority for me to fix. fyi)
Email services I use
- fastmail (probably the best, cheapest, spamfree email system on the planet) If you like what you see there, please use this name as a referrer: lwiebe kthx.
- google mail (easy, graphical virtually unlimited storage)
- yahoo mail (free, large storage email)
- topica (great place to host your email lists, I use this one for both social and business lists)
Web Site places I use
- WordPress (a good blogger support site for using WordPress software)
- Pixel2lifeTutorial site for graphics programs, from Photoshop to GIMP
- W3Schools Online html, css and php tutorials for the beginner and reference works
- Optiniche Tutorials (seo, how to get more traffic, and other tutorials)
- Urbangiraffe (great article on how to deal with and change a WordPress theme)
- IMS Blog (tips on how to generate traffic to your site)
- Tubetorial.com (what not to do with regard to copyright and other blogging issues)
Search Tools I use
- Google (It’s a verb now, what else is there to say?)
- AltaVista (old school, but still effective. Bablefish translations)

- The Blonz Guide (most excellent source/directory)
- SearchEngineWatch (for the search impaired, like me)

- Cute Overload (Meg Foster’s wonderful animal antics site)
- DieselSweeties (R. Stevens wonderful world of robots and social commentary)

- User Friendly (J.D. “Iliad” Frazer’s tech comic)
- Giant in the Playground (Rich Burlew’s Gamer Comic, for the jaded Dungeons and Dragons players among us)
